E-mail Forwarding in Hosting
If you have a hosting plan with us and you set up an e-mail address inside your account, you will be able to forward it with no more than a couple of mouse clicks to another address of your choice. The option can be activated whenever you make a brand new mailbox or at any time later and deactivated just as quickly any time you change your mind. This is done from the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel in which you can control your account. Additionally, you will have the option to choose whether a backup of the inbound e-mails will remain on our servers or not. The main benefit of this feature is that you will always have a backup on your server if anything happens with the other mailbox or if perhaps it is not active for some reason at the time an e-mail is forwarded. If the option is not enabled, a message will be received, forwarded and erased from our servers even if the remote email is functioning or not, so it might be a wise decision for it to be enabled just to be on the safe side.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Hosting
For people with a semi-dedicated server from us, you will need just a few mouse clicks inside the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward any of the e-mails set up on our end to a third-party address. Inside the same section you will additionally be able to observe how many of your mailboxes are forwarded and exactly where the incoming messages are going. You can enable or deactivate a forwarding account at any time and throughout the process you can also decide whether a backup copy of the email messages needs to be kept in our system or not. Although this feature isn't a must have, it's very practical as you will get a backup of the messages on our end just in case that anything occurs with the third-party mailbox. Even if they've got just a temporary problem, you run the risk of losing emails as when our server receives and forwards a message, nothing will be maintained on our end if you haven’t chosen a backup to be saved.
